Pillow Class/Reno Sewing Festival
 
I am an intermediate level sewer and I found Claudia's explainations were easy to understand. I made a pillow with invisible zipper and cording and was very pleased with it. This was a nice surprise as I hadn't ever put in either cording or zipper, but with Claudia's help I made a pillow in less then an hour. I highly recommend this class as it is nice to leave a class with a completed project that I can then duplicate on my own. Linda Hurst

Thank you so much for sending me the CD!!!! I have not had opportunity to view it as yet (seeing as it only arrived day before yesterday and I worked all day yesterday!) but am so anxious to open the celophane and absorb all you've packed onto the disk! I had such fun with you at Reno a couple of weeks ago and hope that I will be able to take in another of your presentations again soon. Who knows, perhaps I will be able to actually write and tell you I have those dining room chairs restored and recovered one of these days! And,,,,, thank you for adding me to your list of email subscribers!! I will eagerly follow where you are presenting seminars and classes and hope that my calendar of teaching will coincide with one of yours in the not too distant future.

I really enjoyed the pillow class today. I loved the invisible zipper, it was a lot easier than I thought and looks more professional. I also liked the tricks you showed us to get the welt around the corner, it is easier and looks a lot nicer than the way I had been doing it. But best of all, I stopped at a High-end store in Scottsdale after an appointment today and none of their pillows that I saw were as nice as yours (or mine will be in the future). Theirs all dipped in the middle, thanks for all the tips. I will be back for more classes.

Dear Claudia,
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the recent slipcover class I attended.  You made the whole process seem so simple. Of all the different methods, yours is definitely the easiest and the most professional looking.  It’s the best! Though I previously sewed quite a lot, I haven’t done much in recent years.  The atmosphere in your workshop reminded me how much I used to love sewing and now I’m committed again.  Since I’ve recently retired from a very long career in the hotel industry I’m even considering looking for some work in a sewing work room.  I’d look forward to any advice you might offer in this regard.
