Sonoran Sewing is offering Home Decor Workshops that focus on small group networking and hands-on experience. Fabricate and take home beautiful samples from each workshop.

Sonoran Sewing Experience teaches professional custom sewing methods used in high-end workrooms across the country to those who sew for their own homes as well as professionals in the industry. Considering a career change why not a new career in the Custom Home Decor Industry!

Create a custom window treatment for your home in a day! This class offers the basic in sewing window toppers and valances. You will learn about the fabrication of several types of toppers, such as Box Pleated, Faux Roman, Shaped Toppers, Tab Tops, Empire, Monica, etc. Learn different ways to mount and install your window treatments. You should finish 3-4 samples in this class.

Dress up Dining Chairs, Parsons Chairs, Folding Chairs, and Bar Stools  Karen will show you how to sew simple slipcovers for your furniture.  You will learn Decorating and Sewing techniques to dress up your home in just a few short hours.  You will need to bring your sewing machine with zipper foot, your chair (if flying in we will provide a chair for class)
You will have the opportunity to sew and finish a slipcover.

We will be using high-end Trims and Fabrics for this class. Your finished pillows will make beautiful gifts for the holidays . We will be sewing with neutral colored fabric so that the pillows will fit with any Home Decor.

The average Designer Pillow Retails at $125 to $400 and you will finish the class with a beautiful neckroll designer pillow. High-end trims range from $15 per yard to $160 per yard, I have ordered several beautiful Trims and Fabrics for this class.  This Class requires: Designer Pillows 101 Bring your sewing machine, zipper foot, scissors, tape measure and creativity
